Johns Hopkins Aramco HealthCare Goes Live with AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging Across Nine Sites in Saudi Arabia

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) in Saudi Arabia has gone live with AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging across nine sites and multiple departments, providing clinicians with seamless access to images, so they can focus on delivering confident, informed care.
AGFA HealthCare is pleased to announce that long-term client Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, has gone live with the Enterprise Imaging platform. The new solution will empower JHAH to provide a stable, reliable environment that gives clinicians seamless access to images and reports, supporting greater clinical and diagnostic confidence.
The installation includes AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging for Radiology and Dental at a central site, four proxy locations, and four remote facilities, creating a unified imaging environment in a highly available workspace that provides on-demand access from any location.
The solution offers improved interoperability compared to the previous image management system and adds built-in augmented intelligence (AI) tools for CT lung and breast imaging, enhancing clinical confidence. With a fully redundant setup and reliable 24/7/365 support, system availability is maximized, providing clinicians with a smoother, more connected experience.
Seamless access and reduced complexity across JHAH’s imaging ecosystem
Mustafa Hamdy, Sales Manager for Middle East, AGFA HealthCare, reflects on the project.
“Consolidating medical imaging for radiology and dental into a single ecosystem with Enterprise Imaging enables JHAH to give their clinicians seamless access to images and reports wherever and whenever they need it. The platform’s exceptional ability to integrate with other vendors’ systems also creates a seamless user experience. JHAH has long been a role model for digital health innovation and technological adoption – the successful implementation of Enterprise Imaging aligns this innovation with excellence and connected patient care”.
