Today stands as a global testament to the Radiology community. November 8th marks the International Day of Radiology (IDoR), commemorating the groundbreaking discovery of X-rays by Wilhelm Röntgen in 1895 — a moment that forever changed the course of medical science.

As our world evolves at an unprecedented pace, so too must healthcare and technology. Clinicians continue to adapt and thrive in high-pressure environments, driven by relentless innovation and patient care demands. On this day, medical imaging professionals across the globe unite to celebrate IDoR — recognizing the vital role that Radiologists, Radiographers, Radiological Technologists, and all Radiology professionals play in every patient’s journey.
