Popular Modules, Services & Solutions
Unify medical photography within Enterprise Imaging and unlock additional clarity, confidence, and information to the care teams. Images taken on smartphones and mobile devices flow directly into the imaging record, where they are stored securely, centrally, and compliantly, where they can be seamlessly accessed through the EHR and become part of the patient’s Imaging Health Record™ .
Clinicians can capture images and share insight effortlessly, without workflow disruption, empowering confident assessments, and real-time collaborative decisions at the point of care.
That’s life in flow.

Progress, Made Visible
With every image, whatever its format, in a single, connected space, clinicians can see the patient’s story unfolding from one encounter to the next.
Capture Without Compromise
Clinicians can document what matters, in the moment, knowing it will be stored securely and can be shared seamlessly across the enterprise.
A Shared View for Teams
Every clinician sees the same picture, so conversations feel easier, decisions feel aligned, and teams stay on the same page.
Insight that Supports Communication
Images are available where the conversations happen, allowing clinicians to connect more confidently with patients and colleagues.
One Workspace, Seamless Flow
Images are connected, secure, and easy to work with: no hunting for information, no silos, and no interruptions to clinical flow.
Your Imaging, Unified and Accessible
Enterprise Imaging combines all formats in one secure environment linked to the patient record. It makes sharing easy, so teams collaborate anywhere.
In wound care, progress is often measured one image at a time. With Enterprise Imaging, you can capture each stage of the wound’s development and review it alongside previous images, giving you a clear view of how healing is evolving. Whether care happens at the bedside or in the clinic, every photo becomes part of the patient’s ongoing story, helping you follow changes more easily, validate treatment effectiveness, and support informed decisions for your patients.
In dermatology, tracking the visual progression of skin conditions can have a big impact on care decisions. With Enterprise Imaging, you can capture photographs whenever they’re needed and compare them side by side over time, helping you notice changes in lesions, rashes, or chronic conditions early on. As all your images come together in one place, you and your team gain a clear, continuous view of the patient’s skin health—supporting confident assessment and informed decisions about care.

Enterprise Imaging supports multiple ways to bring photographs and other non-DICOM files into the platform, securely and efficiently. Whether imaging data is captured at the point of care or from connected DICOM modalities, each file becomes part of the patient’s imaging history, giving clinicians a more complete and longitudinal view of the patient.
With the Multimedia Gateway, caregivers can seamlessly add multimedia content from any digital device to the Enterprise Imaging platform in its native format, bringing departments that use a variety of image sources into the Enterprise Imaging ecosystem.
XERO® Capture is a quick, practical way for clinicians, nurses, and other caregivers to add photographs directly into Enterprise Imaging at the point of care. Using a simple browser interface, images can be captured or uploaded in seconds, then automatically converted into DICOM and stored securely as part of the patient record—with no workflow disruption.

Handling medical images and videos in different formats and locations can fragment workflows and limit access to the information care teams rely on. Enterprise Imaging brings them all together, either in their native format or converted to DICOM when needed. Whatever the source, all content is stored, managed, and accessed within one imaging environment, so that it is available in the patient record and is securely available to teams across the enterprise.
Enabled by the Multimedia Gateway, Enterprise Imaging manages non-DICOM content (such as medical photographs, PDFs, videos, and other clinical files) in its native format alongside DICOM studies. All files become part of the patient’s imaging history and remain accessible, independent of any individual PACS system.
Enterprise Imaging supports IHE-XDS (Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing) to make imaging and multimedia content available across systems and care networks. Both DICOM and non-DICOM files can be securely shared and accessed by care teams in the network, wherever they are—supporting true enterprise-wide and cross-organizational collaboration.
