AGFA HealthCare will be attending the RCR AI Conference 2026, where the team will highlight its latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence for radiology. Visitors can find AGFA HealthCare at booth 43, where live demonstrations and expert discussions will be available throughout the event.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore AGFA HealthCare’s growing portfolio of including embedded AI algorithms and the RUBEE® AI engine, designed to support radiology workflows, enhance diagnostic confidence, and enable seamless integration of AI into clinical practice.

A key highlight of the event will be a session delivered by Dr Anjum Ahmed, Global Chief Medical Officer at AGFA HealthCare. With over 28 years of experience in healthcare IT and a strong track record in advancing AI-driven innovation, Dr Ahmed plays a central role in shaping AGFA HealthCare’s clinical strategy and technology innovation development. Dr Ahmed’s session “When AI algorithms join clinical radiology in the NHS, who owns safety?” is on Monday 29th June at 12:30-12:50pm in Stream 3. This session will address one of the most pressing topics in AI adoption – clinical governance and accountability – offering valuable insights for healthcare leaders navigating the integration of AI into routine practice.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Dr Ahmed said:

“When algorithms begin prioritizing studies, influencing workflows, and shaping clinical decisions, they effectively become part of the care team. The healthcare industry must now redefine patient safety governance for an era where Enterprise Imaging platforms orchestrate both humans and AI together.”

AGFA HealthCare is committed to supporting healthcare providers with practical, scalable AI solutions that enhance workflows while maintaining a strong focus on clinical safety and diagnostic confidence. The conference provides an ideal opportunity to engage directly with radiologists, IT leaders, and decision-makers exploring the next phase of AI adoption. Representing AGFA HealthCare are key commercial and clinical teams from the region, including Global Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) Dr Nick Spencer – a former NHS Radiologist and keen advocate of our ‘Clinical-First’ approach.

Get set to be empowered with our group of industry experts – all ready to discuss and consult on current trends and radiology touchpoints, such as:
