HITRUST Certification validates that AGFA HealthCare is meeting rigorous cybersecurity and data protection standards through independent assessment and assurance.

AGFA HealthCare, a leading provider of imaging IT solutions, today announced its Enterprise Imaging platform has once again earned certified status from HITRUST for cybersecurity and information protection.

The HITRUST Certification demonstrates that AGFA HealthCare has met requirements defined by leading cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks, confirming that strong controls are in place to protect sensitive data and manage risk effectively.

Built on the HITRUST Assurance Program, this achievement reflects independent third-party testing, centralized quality assurance, and certification backed by HITRUST’s Cyber Threat-Adaptive engine. These elements ensure continuous alignment with the latest threat intelligence and evolving standards across NIST, ISO, and OWASP.

“As cybersecurity expectations rise, our stakeholders expect credible, validated assurance,” said Jarius Jackson, Info Security & Privacy Tech Specialist for AGFA HealthCare. “Achieving HITRUST Certification reinforces our ongoing commitment to protecting data, managing risk, and maintaining the trust of those we serve.”

HITRUST i1 certification demonstrates that AGFA HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Solutions are leveraging a comprehensive standard, covering 182 control requirements – including mappings to over 40 authoritative sources – to protect against current and emerging threats.

“Earning HITRUST Certification demonstrates AGFA HealthCare’s commitment to managing information risk and protecting sensitive data through a rigorous, proven assurance process,” said Gregory Webb, CEO of HITRUST. “This achievement reflects the organization’s proactive approach to cybersecurity and trust.”

The HITRUST i1 Validated Assessment and Certification allows organizations to demonstrate that they address cybersecurity challenges and remain cyber resilient over time. The re-certification in 2026 demonstrates that as threats evolve, so does AGFA HealthCare, once again demonstrating how we are putting our customers’ data security as our #1 priority.
