It is a privilege to engage with imaging pioneers in Latin America this week, a very dynamic and fast-evolving region.   Through an intense series of customer interactions, we gained valuable insights into regional needs, ambitions, and innovation momentum shaping the future of imaging.

Starting at the first AGFA HealthCare LATAM Connect event in Chile, AGFA executives Veronique Lessens, Dan Brown and Dr Anjum Ahmed converged with the local teams to welcome huge numbers of Chilean customers to a day of learning, knowledge sharing, and forward visions.  AGFA HealthCare associates had the opportunity to connect with a global health leader, tabling ideas to keep the momentum of offering cutting-edge diagnostic solutions with precision medicine.

Immediately following, the team moved over the border to meet with Brazilian partner, Konimagem, to support a second LATAM Connect in Porto Alegre. This gathering brought together clinical leaders, strategists, and technologists from across a highly interconnected and innovation-driven healthcare landscape.

The week concluded in São Paulo with a final LATAM Connect hosted at Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade de São Paulo. Hospital Clínica Sao Paulo kindly collaborated with the AGFA HealthCare and Konimagem teams to host another community of imaging customers and enthusiasts. Lead for the Institute of Radiology (InRad), Dr. Giovanni Cerri, who is also responsible for Diagnostic Services in Hospital Sirio Libanes, opened the discussion panel, which complemented the event’s clinical and technical sessions for a hall of 70 people from the imaging space.

A busy week for our leadership and local commercial teams, but with an incredible accomplishment of empowering healthcare providers in one of our most important geographies. A huge thank you to all our customers, networks and partners who made such an ambitious trip possible.
