Most recently, as Head of Global Service Delivery for Radiology Informatics, he led the program to deploy PACS as a Cloud Native Managed Service solution, which involved working cross functionally to define the requirements, design an AWS based platform, and drive standardization.

In addition, he advises the HealthCare Leadership and their teams, in the development of solutions strategy, the clinical and medical aspects of technology innovation and AI. Prior to his current role, he has worked at GE Healthcare for 12 years implementing clinical and imaging IT solutions globally. Dr Ahmed has to his credit industry first innovations, including the conceptualization and evaluation of AGFA HealthCare’s first AI projects and related case studies.
