Dr. Anjum Ahmed
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Anjum Ahmed (MBBS, MBA, MIS) is a seasoned healthcare IT professional, with over 25 years of industry experience when it comes to health-tech innovations. As the Global Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ahmed leads the medical affairs activities, providing oversight to the pre- and post-market clinical risk assessment of AGFA HealthCare’s solutions. In addition, he advises the HealthCare Leadership and their teams, in the development of solutions strategy, the clinical and medical aspects of technology innovation and AI. Prior to his current role, he has worked at GE Healthcare for 12 years implementing clinical and imaging IT solutions globally. Dr Ahmed has to his credit industry first innovations, including the conceptualization and evaluation of AGFA HealthCare’s first AI projects and related case studies.
Dr. Kal Clark
Associate Professor Clinical and Vice Chair of Informatics
Kal Clark MD is the Vice-Chair of Informatics and an Associate Professor of Radiology. His primary clinical expertise is emergency and trauma radiology in the Division of Emergency Radiology. Academic interests include artificial intelligence as it relates to error mitigation, disease classification, disease diagnosis, radiation safety, and general quality improvement. He is a member of the UTSA MATRIX AI Consortium for Human Well-Being and the UT System CAID (Consortium for AI in Diagnostics). Dr. Clark is fellowship-trained in neuroradiology. He completed his medical training at the Washington University in St Louis School of Medicine and completed his radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Rajeev Nowrangi
Director Radiology Imaging Informatics
Dr. Rajeev Nowrangi is the Director of Imaging Informatics at Loma Linda University Health, where he has led enterprise imaging strategy and innovation for the past three years. Prior to this role, he completed a dedicated Imaging Informatics Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. His work focuses on advancing enterprise imaging, building AI infrastructure to support clinical operations, education, and research. Dr. Nowrangi is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to promote equitable patient care, expand access to imaging services, and train the next generation of healthcare providers.
Dr. Usama Al Bastaki
Chair of Medical Imaging
Dr. Usama Mohammad Hasan Al Bastaki is a radiologist with over 20 years of experience. A the Chair of Medical Imaging at Dubai Health, he ha led the Radiology Department at Rashid Hospital since 2014, earning the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Best Public Sector Medical Department in 2020. His leadership drove the department to secure international accreditation from the American College of Radiology, a testament to its advanced technology and skilled team.
A Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Dr. Albastaki is passionate about training future radiologists. He holds a Swedish Board in Diagnostic Radiology (2009) from Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenbrg, and dedicated in cardiac MRI from Royal Brompton Hospital, London. His research have resulted in numerous publications, even chapters in books.
A General Secretary of the Radiology Society of the Emirates (RSE) since 2021, and former President (2018–2021), he has elevated the UAE’s global radiology presence through world-class conferences. Dr. Albastaki serves as a medical expert for the UAE mission to UNSCEAR in Vienna and chaired the medical application group at the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR). Residing in Dubai, he continues to advance patient-centered radiology and innovation.

Director of Enterprise Imaging Strategy
Charles Morris has been with AGFA HealthCare for 20 years, serving in various regional and global roles across the EMR and Imaging business units.
Currently, Charles is the Director of Enterprise Imaging Strategy for North America, where he oversees the strategic direction of the AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging Platform. His primary focus is analyzing industry trends and driving technology adaptation to meet those trends.
Before joining AGFA, Charles was a co-founder and CTO of two technology startups in Northern California. He holds a dual degree in Mechanical and Civil Engineering from the University of the Pacific and later earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from Texas A&M University.
Ash Dhar
Global Medical Imaging Leader
Ashutosh (Ash) Dhar is the Global Medical Imaging Leader for Amazon Web Services. At AWS, he helps healthcare providers and strategic partners to build their enterprise wide imaging strategies, adopt imaging AI capabilities and ensure medical imaging solutions are delivered securely, at scale and with resilience. During his 22-year career in the medical imaging industry, he has helped develop & deliver several innovative products, including ultrasound-as-a-service, ultra-portable imaging devices, workflow optimization solutions, and AI-driven imaging solutions.
Steven Johnson
Senior Director of Information Technology
Steve Johnson, is the Senior Director of Information Technology – Enterprise Imaging for Tampa General Hospital (TGH), a nationally renowned nonprofit academic health system. With his over 20 years of expertise in both Information Technology and Enterprise Imaging, Steve is responsible for further integrating Tampa General at an enterprise level and overseeing Tampa General’s dynamic growth of its Enterprise Imaging IT systems, throughout the state.
Dr. Peter Strouhal
FRCR accredited experienced radiologist, Medical Director
Dr. Peter Strouhal, Radionuclide Radiologist with over 20 years’ consultant-level experience in the NHS, including training and reporting PET-CT since 2005. Having been at Alliance Medical for 9 years, he has many years of prior board-level experience as a Clinical/Medical Director for several major UK-centered independent healthcare organisations. He manages governance, research, radiation safety, and AI for Alliance Medical, and is an integral part of a team which oversees the implementation of a new Enterprise Imaging solution.

Rob Mayer
Chief Product Officer, AGFA HealthCare
Rob joined AGFA HealthCare in August 2023 as the Chief Product Officer. Rob brings with deep experiences in Product Management, Systems Integration and Services within Healthcare IT, Medical Devices and Supply Chain solutions
He leads our global product management organization formulating & managing the existing product portfolio, partners with global marketing to envision the Enterprise Imaging product strategy and cross-functional execution of our product roadmap. Rob’s prior experiences include Senior level roles in Product Management at GE Healthcare, Hospira, Hill-Rom, Carefusion, Becton Dickinson & PartsSource. As the demand for efficient management and sharing of radiology data across disparate systems and locations grows, so do the complexities. These challenges are compounded by the pressures to maintain high-quality imaging, ensure rapid turnaround times, and collaborating with clinical teams.
Nathalie McCaughley
President, AGFA HealthCare
Nathalie joined the Agfa-Gevaert Group as President of the HealthCare IT division in February 2022. Based in the US, she is a seasoned global leader in Healthcare IT with a passion for understanding and delivering on the needs of the customer, a relentless commitment to operational excellence, and a track record for driving outstanding results. Nathalie has over 20 years of leadership experience in the healthcare & software industry – spanning across sales, marketing, operations, and corporate strategy. Her most recent experiences were with Cigna as their President for their Commercial & Labor division and with GE Healthcare, where she – during her 20 years with the company – held a variety of regional general management roles across all continents. Nathalie graduated with a Bachelor of International Relations, Economics and Politics degree from the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne in France and an MBA in International Business from Regent’s University in London.
