Agfa HealthCare today announced it has been ranked first in a new report by KLAS, an independent research firm that specializes in monitoring and reporting on the performance of healthcare vendors. Agfa HealthCare's CR 30-X single-plate computed radiography (CR) digitizer received an overall score of 90.2 in the report "Winning with Service & Reliability: CR Review 2011", making it the No. 1 ranked CR single-plate product according to KLAS.

Agfa HealthCare combines leading equipment with excellent support
"We take great pride in providing our customers with top of the line customer service, but also in our ability to continuously offer new features in our CR lines," said Greg Cefalo, U.S. Digital Radiography Business Unit Manager, Agfa HealthCare. "By combining our leading equipment with the great field support provided by both our dealers and Agfa HealthCare personnel, we will continue to offer customers the products and services they need to improve the delivery of patient care and streamline clinician workflow."

Compact CR solution offers high image quality
The CR 30-X is a compact, tabletop CR system with a single-slot digitizer - ideal for decentralized general radiography, military field hospital, orthopaedic, dental, chiropractic and veterinary use. Its combination of high image quality, affordability and size, as well as its implementation of market-leading imaging software, distinguishes the CR 30-X from all market competitors.

Unique Agfa HealthCare technologies
Enabling more convenient and faster workflow throughout the imaging process, the CR 30-X works in conjunction with Agfa HealthCare's NX, the CR's image identification and quality control workstation designed to enable users to effortlessly and efficiently complete digital X-ray exposure. In addition, the CR 30-X uses Agfa HealthCare's MUSICA2 intelligent image processing software to automatically optimize the final image quality without the need for manual intervention.

Right choice for fast, easy and cost-effective CR
Because standard electrical outlets are used, set-up costs are low and installation simple. With its modular, component-based design, the CR 30-X digitizer offers fast, easy and cost-effective maintenance, making it the leading choice of facilities looking to initiate a digital imaging workflow, or for larger facilities looking to add remote areas to the digital network.
